Mobile Work

I founded SquatchCraft LLC to design and develop mobile applications that solve meaningful problems through AI and mindfulness. My most popular app, Power Play AI, leverages on-device AI models to analyze historical lottery data and generate statistically informed number sets, while helping users track their picks and view upcoming drawings. I also created Everyday Grace, a journaling and devotional app that offers personalized, scripture-based reflections based on user entries. I'm currently exploring new projects, including a smart yard care assistant and an educational AI model training tool designed to teach youth how AI works through hands-on learning.

Overview
Below is a collection of my current work & processes. UX is my profession, but iOS development is my passion. I spend most of my time outside of work ideating on new potential apps, improving existing desins, and fixing bugs in my code.

Process

Evolution of an App
As a long-time iOS hobbyist, I design apps around problems that genuinely interest me, then refine them through rapid iteration and user feedback. Every interface is shaped by mobile UX heuristics prioritizing clarity, responsiveness, and intuitive flows and I update frequently based on real user insights to ensure each app feels personal, purposeful, and polished.
Prototyping & Research
My research focuses on observing real user behavior and uncovering friction points through app reviews, direct feedback, and in-app analytics. I look for patterns where users hesitate, drop off, or express confusion, then evaluate those moments against mobile UX heuristics like discoverability, feedback, consistency, and minimal input. I prioritize updates that reduce cognitive load, improve tap targets and flows, and make key actions feel effortless on small screens.
